The Purelux Panther Aero C540 is an aerodynamically shaped led bar, which is the latest addition to its manufacturer's slim-frame Panther Aero product family. This led bar combines both a modern appearance and a great size-to-power ratio, which together elevate it to the best of single-row auxiliary lights. Externally, the led bar is understatedly stylish thanks to its dark optics, low structure, frameless lens and two-color parking light (orange and white), but inside it hides a tremendous performance for its size. The Aero C540 has two different power modes, i.e. it can be switched on either the limited power mode approved for road traffic or the Purelux PowerBoost® mode that releases full power, where the light output reaches 8249 lumens with a measured range of 444 meters @ 1 lux.

Unlike usual, you don't need to connect or disconnect any extra wires to activate the lamp's different power modes, instead switching between PowerBoost® and road mode is unprecedentedly easy by pressing the button at the end of the lamp. The power mode that was last used remains in the lamp's "memory", and thus you don't have to worry, e.g. when driving on the road, that the lamp always turns on at maximum power when the power is turned off in between and the car starts moving again.
Note! You can clearly see the difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road traffic mode - PowerBoost® mode is significantly more efficient and should not be used when driving in normal road traffic, only off-road.
The beam of the Panther Aero C540 consists of a rectangular wide main beam, which is the perfect combination of both range and width. Thanks to the curved design, the led bar spreads light laterally over a very wide area, so that roadsides, ditches and forest edges can be illuminated effectively right from the front of the car. In the vertical direction, the light beam is softly delimited, which is why it is especially optimal for bumber installations. Despite the height-limited beam, there is still enough light for driving on hilly terrain and for roof installations.
The differences between the curved and straight Panther can be found in the light beam: in both models, the beam is enough to illuminate the entire road from side to side, but in the curved led bar, the main light beam is still approx. 50% wider, i.e. the effectively illuminated area is wider in the curved model. In contrast to the other bar of the Panther series, in the 54 cm wide lights, the whole light beam of the straight model is a bit wider than that of the curved model, which is purely due to the fact that there is more scattered light spreading laterally in the straight led bar. So if you're looking for light that effectively illuminates the area as wide as possible, a curved led bar is a better choice, and if you want to maximize the range of the light beam, a straight model is better. In the curved model, the spotlight is also straighter at the top and bottom, so it is a slightly better option for really low installations.
Along with the precisely finished light beam, another feature that significantly improves the driving experience is the light's neutral color temperature of 5000 Kelvin. The neutral color temperature is optimal for road traffic, as it facilitates e.g. the observation of terrain shapes and obstacles, and it does not reflect blinding brightness from nature's white snow cover to the driver's eyes or distort the colors of the target. In addition, the neutral color temperature works better than cool shades in bad weather conditions, and it helps to keep your eyes sharp in the seemingly endless darkness. The 5000K color temperature also suits newer cars with standard LED or Xenon lights.
The Panther Aero C540's aerodynamics, stylish black profile, dark optics, and the orange or white parking light running beautifully at the bottom of the light make the led bar a finished and modern addition to any vehicle. In addition to visibility and great lighting properties, the lamp is also very durable, as evidenced by, for example, its highest possible tightness rating IP69K. The body of the lamp is made of powder-coated aluminum, which has been treated with a special coating that is excellently resistant to oxidation, the sun's harmful UV rays, variable weather conditions and also protects against dirt. The lamp's lens is impact-resistant and high-quality Lexa polycarbonate, which can withstand the inevitable stone blows and scratches from branches when driving. The front of the light is designed completely flat, meaning there is no frame around the lens that collects snow, ice or dirt.

The light comes with both the traditional end legs and the width-adjustable rail mounts below the light, so it can be easily attached to different objects. The connection is made easier by the 2-pole DT connector on the lamp's power cord, as well as the plus wires that go separately to the parking lights. The wide operating voltage range (9-36V) enables connection to both 12V and 24V systems, and the light's very moderate reference number (25) enables installation alongside practically all standard lights without removing the original lights from use! In addition, the lamp is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Two-year (24 months) warranty!

Note! You can buy the complete sets above either as they are OR you can also take the XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit connection relay (see product options), which allows the led bar to be connected to CAN-bus controlled lights as well. In short, the connection using this relay is carried out by inserting the control device (OBD Dongle) into the car's OBD-II port and replacing the PowerUnit relay with the original relay of the supplied wiring harness. The control device placed in the OBD port catches the high beam signal from the CAN bus and sends the information completely wirelessly to the relay in the wiring harness, which in turn controls the additional light according to this signal.
