The Purelux Panther 5 is a powerful 5" additional light representing a new generation of design, which fills a gaping gap in the market with style! The highly efficient Panther 5 is equipped with, among other things, a wide combination light beam, orange and white parking light, a completely unique appearance and an exceptionally low reference number (12.5). In addition the light has two power modes, the more moderate of which is approved for road traffic, while the PowerBoost® mode, which releases full power, is intended for off-road traffic. , packed in a frame less than 15 cm wide.
Panther 5's small size, low reference and exceptional frame also allow for more special installations. For example, depending on the width of the car, you can build a stylish light array with 6-10 lights on the roof of an SUV. The body of the Panther 5 is not coincidentally the same as the Panther Alpha 90 work light, but the solution also enables that when assembling the light panel, the outermost lights can be replaced with a completely identical-looking but very wide-beam illuminator. This provides even more light to the vehicle's immediate area and sides for off-road use. With six lights the range is 1156 m, with eight 1335 m and with ten 1493 m @ 1 lux.
The light beam of the Panther 5 consists of a rectangular wide main beam, where the wide spot in the middle directs the light far ahead, up to almost half a kilometer. In the vertical direction, the light beam is softly delimited, as usual from other lights of the Panther series, thanks to which the light is not drowned in the sky and a dazzling ball of light does not form in front of the bow. However, the height of the light beam is optimized to be sufficient even for hilly terrain and ceiling installations.
In addition to the precisely finished light beam, a feature that significantly improves the driving experience is the light's neutral color temperature of 5000 Kelvin. Neutral color temperature is optimal for road traffic, as it facilitates the observation of terrain shapes and obstacles and does not distort the color of the object. In addition, it dazzles less cool tones from e.g. snow cover or in fog and rain, and reduces the strain on the eyes. The boldly non-standard appearance combined with the 5" size and ferocious performance make the Panther 5 an excellent choice for ATVs, regular cars, SUVs and vans. The light's low reference number (12.5) allows several lights to be installed in the same vehicle without having to remove the car's own high beams.

The light is supplied with a mounting foot, and installation is facilitated by the 2-pole DT connector already in place in the light's power cord and the separate wires from the power cord to the parking lights. The complete sets come with ready-made support brackets that can be attached to the fixing bolt of the light mounting foot (the use of support brackets is not necessary, if the installation can otherwise be carried out securely), so they remain hidden and the end result is neat. The wide operating voltage range (9-36V) enables installation in both 12V and 24V systems. The lamp is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Three-year (36 months) warranty!
Two stone impact protectors are available for the lamp, yellow and black. With yellow, the tone of the light can be changed to yellow, which improves visibility especially in bad conditions, such as snow, heavy fog or rain.
